The piece consists of 16 units, each one looks out onto a balcony with people. It presents a human landscape of the characters in their daily lives, while engaged in "ordinary" and familiar activities. The work looks at the characters with empathy, but one can observe elements of humor and even fantasy in the lives of the characters presented. The work can be seen as an allegory for life, a metaphor for a stable and normal civilization.

Alongside the nostalgia that surrounds the viewer, seeing the sights and situations he/she remembers from childhood, the work conveys a message of optimism and hope for a "normal" daily life, a life of routine without wars, threats and captivity. This hope  a message that is indispensable under the events of the past year and the mood in which we find ourselves.
