This is a series of figures that break the barriers of our daily lives. The figures – woman's head, a determined man, a child kicking forward, a peace-activist and a couple dancing – emerge from between the blinds and subtly violate the rigid metal structure.
The use of flat steel strips creates a optical illusion. The metal rods act as a visual screen and the figures seem to move between the hidden space behind the scene and the open space in front. This reminds us that our inner lives also exist beyond the visible or expected.
סדרת הפסלים הזו מציגה דמויות שפורצות את המחיצות בחיי היומיום שלנו. הדמויות – ראש אישה, גבר החלטי, ילד שבועט קדימה, פעיל שלום וזוג רוקד – מגיחות מבין המוטות ומפרות את המבנה המתכתי הנוקשה.
השימוש בפסי פלדה שטוחים יוצר אשליה אופטית שבה פסי המתכת נראים כווילון או כמחיצה והדמויות נעות בין החלל הסמוי שמאחורי המחיצה אל המרחב הפתוח שבחזית. כך נרמזים חיינו הפנימיים שממשיכים גם מעבר לגלוי או למצופה.
Technique: Combination of flat steel strips (20mm wide and 3mm thick).
Each one bent and welded according to plan.
Finish: Galvanized and oven painted black.

כל קטע מכופף ומרותך למקומו על פי תוכנית.
